I got 100 MILLION views on my YouTube channel in 4 months of taking youtube seriously. Here’s what worked (and what didn’t).
Posting a lot in the same niche
I post around 4x/day. I also tried posting 12x/day (1 every hour) and that did NOT work. Any more than 4x/day and you lose more followers than you gain.
It takes 2 weeks to 1 month to start seeing any real growth
Unlike what most people say- you don’t have to be *too* patient. If you are not growing after 2 months, you are likely doing something wrong.
Posting the same format over and over
I created a video series using the same sound & format, so everyone who watched one of those videos ended up watching multiple.
Not sharing my videos outside of YouTube
Most people say you should get your friends and family to engage with your videos after publishing, but I think that destroys the organic reach of the video. It starts to reach people who aren’t your target audience and that reduces click through rate and overall potential reach.
